The firm litigates tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Justice, state agencies, the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and federal and state courts. The firm also handles ERISA claims and related litigation.

With its seasoned trial lawyers, the firm is adept at framing issues for trials or hearings held in a tax controversy and, if appropriate, developing a strategy for possible compromise and settlement. The firm’s trial lawyers will work closely with you through the litigation process and, if necessary, work closely with your regular tax attorney and/or accountant.

The firm also maintains a white collar crime practice and defends criminal cases involving alleged tax crimes.
